In July, 2015, at the age of 45, I saw the Rockin 1000 Learn to Fly video. I was in my hotel room the night of a business trip flipping through FaceBook when a friend shared it. I was stunned. I watched it 12 times in a row. I was so moved by it, it gave me goose bumps and made me cry. I'd never played any musical instrument in my life, but watching that video made me realize I had to make music. I called my wife later that night and told her about the video and that I wanted to learn to play the drums.<br/><br/>She was fully supportive, and the next day I bought a pair of sticks and a practice pad on Amazon. I've practiced 10-15 hours a week every week since. <br/><br/>The Rockin 1000 Learn to Fly video changed my life. Plain and simple.
